The company is dedicated to the R&D, production and sales of ultrathin waterborne polyurethane (“WPU” for short) materials for the healthcare sector.
Lanzhou Ketian Investment Holdings Co., Ltd, home to a world-class R&D team and a national engineering lab, is a leader in the field of waterborne technology and has ever completed a few major R&D and demonstrative industrialization projects under the National Program 863.
Led by Prof. Wang Wusheng, one of the pioneers in China’s WPU industry and the technical leader of Lanzhou Ketian Health Technologies Co., Ltd., in 2016, the R&D team of the company successfully developed ultrathin WPD condoms of 0.01 mm in thickness building on the R&D achievements over the past 30 years and industrial application over 20 years. On 28th August 2016, China’s first WPU condom production line was established and applied. On 20th December 2016 the approval for products launch, as the first industrial case, was subsequently granted by China Food and Drug Administration,
Featuring anti-virus, genuine skin touch feeling, fast heat conduct and anti-allegory, these condoms are up to the international standard in the quality, representing the breakdown of the industrial monopoly of foreign brands.
Through technological innovations, Lanzhou Ketian Health Technologies Co., Ltd. shall incorporate waterborne PU surgical gloves and waterborne PU skin protective films into its product line.
Remaining on track of technical innovation, Lanzhou Ketian Health Technologies Co., Ltd. will further expand application of WPU materials in medical device sector, to contribute to the wonderful vision of “Healthy China Enabled by Technical Innovation”.
In 2016, upon the approval by the National Development and Reform Commission, Ketian Group established the National Joint Engineering Research Center (National Engineering Lab for short), which constitutes part of the national innovation platform, to strongly support Ketian Group in the participation in the national key engineering technologic innovations and the cultivation of senior talents
